Founder, MPOC Marketing
My name is Alisha and I’ll tell you a bit about my journey to MPOC (Marketing Proof of Concept).
The Backstory and Short Version
I grew up doing a lot of math at the kitchen table with my dad and older sister. I also grew up copying my mom’s affinity for canvas painting. Fortunate enough to grow up in a household that supported both sides of my creativity — MPOC was born.
My Curiosity for Consumer Choices
After starting in an entry-level marketing role for an Asset Management firm, I slowly realized my curiosity for customer decision making. In a high intensity environment of financial decision making — what is someones ‘pull trigger’ moment? How can that be applied to products we use every single day?
Why Data?
In a real estate project, Good Deeds: An Analysis on Rehabbed & Ready, working with over 500K data points on housing property values in Detroit, MI from 2000 to 2018, I realized numbers carry stories.
Why Wellness?
As someone who is always striving to live a healthier lifestyle, finding all-natural products for my hair and skin has always been an ever-growing challenge. I am the target audience for wellness brands which makes it that much easier to market to them.
My ultimate mission is to bring sophisticated data analysis backed marketing to minority owned businesses. Being able to calculate your customer type’s next probable decision based on their historic and predictive sales trends helps you as a brand save money, increase conversion, and drive messaging across all inbound marketing channels.
